Yes we've topped up with Demon rejects and we'll be making up the numbers in the eight yet again. I'd rather we did a clean out and missed the eight. Not that happy with our trade period.

Not sold on the other two but if you take out Christensen (who barely played this year anyway) for Clark it's not too bad.

We are copying Hawthorn now. I reckon that only works if you've got a good coach. Clarko is the best in the business but Scott hasn't shown a willingness to learn from past mistakes and he doesn't appear to be innovative. Easy from the cheap seats I suppose and we have been spoiled but we should have been prepared to cop a few years out of the eight.

I don't mind missing the 8 if we are rebuilding for the future.
when we missed finals previously we were good enough to not completely bomb out and win the spoon

If Port win 2 or 3 of first 5, will be ok, but if they struggle early on, may affect ability to finish top 4, and could be fighting for 8th spot at end of season. Hope Im wrong though

Are you kidding Port will smash it next season. They could win the whole thing.

I think Adelaide and Gold Coast will be the bolters,
I think Carlton and ( may surprise here ) Fremantle will be the two that drop away the most.

I'd say both the Coasts (still don't rate the Cows) with Freo and Geelong to take a tumble. Both of us look ripe for it. Freo haven't even recruited anyone and seem overly reliant on a few blokes and our top ups have massive question marks on them.
