Is this a joke.... seriously...

Should it read "HV have appointed Stephen Keam as U8 coach".

Nice attempted troll, although I doubt Flagstaff Hill are happy that you have associated yourself with them.

You beat me to it ... the Mr Footy I've always seen on here was very much Black and Yellow - was surprised to see a post identified as from Flaggies. Maybe more yellow than black :)

Tho looking again, the other one was "Mister Footy" ...... maybe we have a new player ????

MR Footy not a new player - has played on here before but not a regular - likes to pop up every now and then to stir the pot

I hear the HV coaching positions was done to 2 candidates and Potts pulled out for family reasons. Keam was impressive to panel and had done his research well on HV. I wish him all the best - as AFC pointed out he showed capability at Marion but didn't have the playing staff to carry it out.

Time will tell

IS HVFC club in a position where perhaps they need to make a decision based on the future of the footy club hence the "development club coach role" advertised?? why wouldn't they look at a coach in there own backyard and not a bigname coach as previously chased ??

Didnt get A grade job and didnt apply for any other role.

Yes F&C was told that....... think he is looking for a senior role as success and development at 16's-18's level has been good over last 3 years.
Pretty unusual to apply for the senior coaching role at a club and have to re- apply for a 18's role after HV playing in the GF with 1 loss for the year.... :?
Is he Not the committee's favourite??

Shoe BOY....
6FT 10 ........... hope the shoes new signing falls victim to the salt in the air down there........ the ol 6ft 10......... quickly becomes 6ft 4 in May 2015 !! ;)

Reckon you will find all coaches have to "re-apply" every year - some exceptions made when A grade coach is appointed for longer term. It's how you view the term "re-apply". Conversation with president can be enough. This bloke has had good success but hasnt got to the final glory.

Not on committee so dont know their thoughts.

LGIL - you need your own stand up show =D>

If he talks up success at junior level any club interviewing him will equate that to premierships.

Heard that JC from Happy Valley is the new A Grade Coach at Lonsdale, can someone confirm this, he was telling people he was a certainty last week.

I see Lonsdale have filled their position with Ross Brokensha, former journeyman and Morphettville Park coach from a number of years past
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Any reason to think Rod Mitchell would not be continuing as Flagstaff coach?
