No reason, other than it's a slow news day and I think the clubs may be asked to choose which they'd prefer to use at the next delegates meeting.

Obviously taking which is better to kick into account - but cost to your club as well.

Feel free to share your personal pro's and con's on each brand.

My ranking of the two footys:
1. Red sherrin (original and the best)
2. Yellow burley (perfect training ball)
3. Red burley (slightly better than yellow sherrin)
4. Yellow sherrin (seems to be a big difference between this one and the red, terrible footy.

Vegtan yellow Sherrins are great footys. Anything else in yellow footys is rubbish imo.....

Sherrins are horrible these days very pointy and float hell of a lot. Dont think burleys are much better are they? Never played with a burley though.

Burleys lose their shape a lot earlier than Sherrins. Their yellow balls bloat and become very hard if they have seen any midwinter work and when they are very new they can float a lot. Kick a Sherrin in for half a game and they are lovely.
