- Umpiring was a F**king disgrace but NOT why we lost
- bad kicking equals bad footy
- give the hawks a sniff your f**ked soooooo good by foot
- Port have a huge future. Massive (Crows 2012 compeared to Port 2014 is f **king laughable)
- Both Supporter groups outstanding electric to be at
- Ebert and Cornes shouldn't be allowed to kick
- Shaun B still a gun
- Travus Boak. Best captain in the comp on par with duckwood and Hodge
- Sydney by 23
- Hombcsh injury was dead set sickening wish him all the best

Ebert. Love his fitness and grit but those who to this day -Rucci is one- who still maintain the Crows should have drafted him instead of Dangerfield are kidding themselves.
Not too much of a dig Port fans - you still have the better team.

You know what - I personally still prefer Ebert, a better team player & doesn't sook about slight knocks. His disposal & decision- making are questionable, but well ahead of Dangerfield IMO. Also he's likely to be here for the long haul. He's the better man. And I think he has more respect for his coach & his club.
If you don’t like my words, don’t listen. If you don’t like my appearance, don’t look. If you don’t like my actions, turn your head; It’s as simple as that.

Lol well ahead. That's a classic comment. Eberts foot disposal is poor. Work rate is elite but he will never be an A grader with his kicking.

"Also likely to be here for the long haul. He's the better man"... That's talking about the bloke that's already left a club and used the go home factor??

One of the biggest surprises was Jay Schulz going missing again.

Without that late gift to Monfries, Port never start their run and it's a cruise home for Hawthorn.

Should be more discussion on Carey's accommodation arrangements!

Couldn't be prouder of PAFC then I am. Third youngest side in the AFL and we lost a prelim by a kick. Our dynasty starts next year.

Yeah he was WUB. People forget his efforts though that got us to this week.

A huge learning experience for Chad though- he has spend this year dealing with extra attention and a change in role, and still finished the year with 43 goals. He is only 21, which is the positive.

Plenty of upside- hopefully he takes the next step to become one of the games truly elite talents. Steps up into the Robbie Gray echelon, and our future is huge.

WUB- Chad only has to watch footage of Gray and Parker over the summer- a midfield / forward role beckons for his career- and these 2 do it better than anybody else in the competition. Parker at 21 is an absolute jet.

I hate Port with a passion but I am really finding it hard to dislike Ken Hinkley, a seriously impressive coach. Listening to his press conference he won me over even more.

Not sure Wingard will be that elite midfielder but he is such a dangerous player - showed that with a quarter last night and his game last week - doesn't need 25+ possessions to make an impact. If he can get to a average of 20 a game he will be so hard to stop IMO because his 20 could be 5 goals.

Improves his fitness base Tex and there is no reason why he can't. Has run through the midfield at various stages of the season and has shown that his reading of the play and clearance work is as good as any.

valleys07 wrote:Come on Dutch. I love ya mate but the umps weren't to blame tonight. 29 scoring shots to 22 and losing by 3 points was.

We have nobody to blame but ourselves. 8.4 in that 1st term instead of 3.9 and we are flying back to adelaide tonight preparing for a GF. It really is that simple.

Hypotheticals here guys- but if we were to snare Ryder in this seasons trade period- is he the missing piece of the PAFC puzzle towards a GF birth?

Thoughts?

You need Ryder yes I think, Lobbe looked cooked in the finals. Maric got a hold of him in the first final but got away with it cause of the flogging. Sandi also got a hold of him last week but Sandi is the number one ruck in the comp so that can be accepted. Last night Lobbe won the duels no doubt but he needed to be more dominant, have to remember he only rucked against Hale & the big Ceg, he should have monstered them Sandi style is a much better ruck than that combo.

Ryder would also free the Hoff up even more which is a dangerous thought for any opposition.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Great effort by Port and a wonderful season, their supporters should be very proud.

When will the umpires take some accountability with the holding the ball rule.. Disgraceful interpretations again last night.
