Not overly thrilled with the proposed Sunday game schedule
Can you pull some strings and get a better time for us? Or does the SAAFL really hate us that much. I don't understand how we are meant to play our GF 5 hours earlier than when we usually play. Absurd!

Might as well get your head around it early and start preparing. Same thing happened to our Cs last year and it twas a beautify day. I would suggest that if this is final schedule then it is extremely unlikely to change.
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05

The world doesn't revolve around PNU mate and our convenience is a factor but is not the decisive one.
No conspiracy. Just looking at the list of games and limited venues shows you that it's impossible to make everyone happy. I know I'll be making the friendly suggestion for the future to reevaluate the commitment to women's football.
As a GGFC player who isn't playing in any of our 3 GFs this weekend I'm pretty happy ill be able to get to them all, not ideal for 9am start for the B grade but this was decided at least a week or so back so it's been common knowledge for a bit now - mrs Tex will need to put line through my name for a couple of days.

I think you will find there was more venues available - Broadview, Tea Tree Gully, not sure if any other clubs wanted a Grand final.

The Friday night slot is a ripper for spectators and supporters. Not as sure if it is for players

Not necessarily the correct inference.
Some times these can be a bit like a magic show. You know when the magician offers you any card and you end up with the one the magician wants you to have? It can be a similar feeling
So here's a serious question. During the finals home clubs buy their finals. Why can't clubs who are NOT participating in finals submit a request to host a final. I'm talking clubs without enclosure like Mitchell Park, arguably the best deck in the league, and pay let's say $1000k which is the norm to let clubs enjoy their day. Or is it really about the league collecting the big ones because clubs have worked hard to get there and it's now paytime. Sorry but I thought we were amateurs.
The country clubs get it right, they allocate grounds for finals and the clubs share in the $$$$. No wonder they continually steal players for big bucks.

I know our C grade was asked if we wanted to play Friday night at Thebby but had to say no due to the availability of a few players.

They offered all clubs the opportunity to tender for home neutral grand finals this year.
Not enough clubs were willing to play ball.
Mitchell Park had the opportunity to tender (my guess is $1,000 wouldn't have done the job though)
