Port will be taking advantage of its AFL team playing first, by herding its non-playing travelling emergencies onto a specially chartered 3am flight out of Perth to ensure they play at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, no doubt.

Think we are every chance to go in unchanged again.

Split the games one all this year but Port were hampered in the second game having only 9 fully professional footballers play.

On the positive side for us, we have never lost at the revamped Adelaide Oval and we have the smallest player in the league. I also think we have the most redheads, a deliberate copy on the fabulous Brisbane sides of 10 to 15 years ago.

We have good form, and without overstating it, a one point victory would be just fine.

What do we think the crowd will be like for this one?

I risked not coming to the first two finals but am on my way to this one, I should stay away :?

Save it for the week after ;)

South might be able to gain an edge as the coach and any unused emergency players for Port may struggle to get back to Adelaide in time for the game Even bigger mental edge if their AFL sisters are knocked out the night before.....

Hocking and the travelling emergency(s) will fly out of Perth around 11:50 pm, to Melbourne and back to Adelaide by 10am.

Excellent match preparation. I suggest that the whole SANFL team accompany them as a team-building opportunity

Yep, just what I would want sitting on an overnight flight going past my final destination, then catch another flight back and hope that all flights are on time  then go and play footy.....

I think that was a condition of our entry, all finals had to accommodate our needs first. :D

The irony, get kicked and shit canned from pillar to post all year then when it seems one of our players (or more) could be disadvantaged they all get their kickers in a knot. Either way......I hope we win. Port v Norwood Grand Final would be excellent for the comp.

Norwood v South even better for the comp

The Second Semi was " good for the comp".

A Port v Nwd GF this year won't be good for this confused and compromised "comp".

Shame really.
