Yes it is but alot of people take it for granted and pick and choose what games they attend.
But what's different this year to previous years? We are comparing apples with apples. If anything with the inclusion of GC and GWS they play less games in Melb....

Number of reasons, obviously team performance but variable ticket pricing in Melbourne causes a lot of grief, lots of supporters boycott games because of it. Not sure about less games in Melbourne, not sure about others but we have a H&A 18 game package which about 15,000 have taken out again this year. Supporters with the standard 11 game membership tend to only attend home games

But is the ladder much different than last year @ the same time? It's dropped off a cliff and you can't blame the Melbourne economy because consumer confidence in Victoria is improving compared to 2 years ago. Does continual prime time matches @ the 2 Melbourne venues over the last 8-10 years over interstate venues inflate the Melbourne venue market beyond what it should and now the bubble has finally burst? If that's the case its terrible management of the league long term from previous corporates and can really hurt the Victorian clubs.

She's a slow 7 Carey. Jetted in from Bali last night in the middle of a severe weather warning that dumped 2 inches of rain and our plane bounced of the tarmac like an umpires bounce on the MCG cricket pitch in September. Pilot got it down quicksmart as the weather was shithouse...
