Worried.....

Strangely I heard Adelaide had 31 of their 120 allowed interchanges left unused.

You'd think with only two on the bench and the "heat" Sando was whining about they would have used all 120 rotations.

well pretty hard to make more interchanges when you have less options on the bench, given you usually see double and sometimes triple changes after goals etc.

It's only 1 less option.

33% less people on the bench available to rotate, 25% reduction in rotations. Seems to make sense (given that the both went down before half time)

Wonder what the lowest interchange this year was?

On the flipside the 120 cap doesn't seem to have affected the spectacle of the game that much.

IMO, Smith has to be AA HBF this year. By far the best running defender in the attacking sense, whilst also being able to defend 1-on-1 and help out 3rd man up!
Think Jacobs is around the mark, but that's about it for mine for AA for the AFC. Think Dangerfield is close but probably not this year, and Betts is beaten for small forward by a few.

Tend to agree, though I think Jacobs is more likely than smith.

Betts is behind breust and Ballantine for the small forward role.

Talia will be close too.

See I would have Ryder, Minson, Jacobs, Lobbe, Goldstein and Mumford pretty close, but Ryder and Minson are my choices.
Agree, but I think Ballantyne gets FP spot and Breust gets a HFF spot as a 'medium' forward!

And apologies, Talia is a real chance but I think Eric Mackenzie, Alex Rance, Harry Taylor and Cale Hooker to fight out key position defenders. Sam Rowe and Talia definitely in the mix. My pick is Hooker CHB and Rance FB.

Jacobs had a slow start to the year, and Ryder seems to have had one of his best years. Id say Ryder gets the nod. Talia and Smith would be the only two from AFC i would have in contention for AA honours.

Has been a revelation at the back for the Blues, but miles and miles away from AA selection

Rowe has been great in the last month, puts his balls (or ball?) on the line against bigger opponents most weeks.

Didnt Rance miss a fair chunk of the season?

Talia for mine. Rarely beaten.

What am I reading. Sam Jacobs is the biggest lock for the first ruck spot it's not funny. Crows will have three All Australians
Jacobs, talia and smith

Reckon Betts is a better chance than most think. Definitely in the top 3 small forwards, line ball with Ballantyne IMHO and still a rough chance to close up to Breust. If the selectors decide to actually pick forwards for the forward spots and not just use those spots to squeeze in a couple extra mids he's right in the mix.

Robbie Grey or Luke Parker or both will get the small FWD's positions.

Jacobs will be the ruck I reckon come AA selection
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Lucky the AA side doesnt play finals.

Not exclusive to finals mate.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

All small forwards go missing throughout the season. It's a bloody hard position to play
