Congratulations to Darren "The Jerk"" Graetz who plays his 500th senior game for the AUFC this Saturday in division C3 (the scum) versus Pulteney old scholars at University Oval.
May well kick his 1400th goal as well.
This is an awesome achievement and it's been a pleasure to have been involved with many of them.

Jeebus, I reckon I remember announcing his 400th on the Roots a few years back.

While we're talking long-serving players, I wish to say best of luck to Steve Johnson of the Elizabeth Football Club, who is playing his final game tomorrow, from my understanding.
He has played over 300 games with us, plus, I think 200, with Hope Valley. Add to that a swathe of games in Victoria and he's had a pretty lengthy career.
Top bloke and as hard at the ball as he was when he was a much younger man. Well done, Johnno.

Jerk started at the Blacks in 1985 i believe - and has played in plenty of finals with 9 premierships to his name.
