Operation 'Bums on Seats'

Postby Rik E Boy » Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:37 pm

One for the conspiracy theorists....

In 2005 Kangaroos and Port played an Elimination final in front of thousands of empty seats. This year, crowd pullers Essendon are battling it out with those same clubs (and the Western Bulldogs) for possibly the one final eight spot. The AFL would be spewing if Essendon missed and Port or the Roos got in.

Is 'Operation bums on seats' going according to plan?

vs. Richmond: Hands in the back against Richo was there according to this year's poncy Lloyd rules but the 50 was bollocks. Essendon fall over the line.

vs. Sydney: In another baffling rule change implemented by the AFL, Essendon players are allowed to step over the boundary line but only during the concluding stages of a tight match. Essendon fall over the line.

vs. West Coast: Dead set deliberate by Dustin Fletcher in that last minute. His intention wasn't to score a point, but to get it out of bounds. He succeeded..the very defintion of deliberate. Essendon fall over the line.

vs. Melbourne: In another baffling rule change implemented by the AFL, Essendon players are allowed to hang on to the legs of their opponents but only during the concluding stages of a tight match. Essendon fall over the line.

No team that has this much ar5e will fail to make the eight. It is written. No team that has this much ar5e will last longer than a week in the finals. Port, Roos and Bulldogs fans would all be dreaming of such a run but it aint gonna happen. I'm very worried about next weeks' fixture.

I can do better than that. Essendon will win next Friday's match against Geelong by two points after Max Rooke calls James Hird a poofter and the Bombers get a 50m penalty and a gimmie goal.

Yep poor old Rooker. Looks like a bad one too. He wasn't a happy Catter coming off the ground. Not happy with the 'state of mind' reference to Dog though. He's been first class since we gave him the ar5e at the start of the year. Perhaps the Pies could have taken note regarding Didak. Suspensions work, not sure if fines do...even your mob has worked this one out.
