Big news for the Townsville Crocs announcing the signing of 6'11" import centre Mickell Gladness who has been playing in the D-League. Gladness played in the NBA with Miami & Golden State in 2011-12 and holds the all-time NCAA record for most blocks in a game with 16 in 2007 he lead the nation in blocks that year at 6.3bpg. The Crocs have also announced they've left the Townsville Entertainment Centre and moved to Townsville RSL Stadium.

Today the NBL also released the season draw for the 2014/15 season:

Agreed will be a huge loss for the Hawks and they lost Gary Ervin the season after he was league MVP too I think for a payday in Ukraine.

Good luck to Clarke in Belgium though.

Agreed, should be a good signing for Melbourne without being a world beater. I think he's most recently been playing in Poland.

Forgot to mention last week Townsville also finally announced they had signed Clint Steindl to a 1-year deal.

I'm not sure but there seems to be some talk around of Daniel Kickert coming back from overseas?

Yeah supposedly they've decided not to re-sign Balls.

The 36ers have signed Peter Crawford from the Townsville Crocs to a 1 year deal.

It had been rumoured for a while but still not sure what to make of this signing. PC was good enough to make the Boomers team at the 2012 Olympics but he seems to have declined a fair bit since then due to age & injuries.

In those two years he's gone from 14.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 43.5% FG, 40% 3pt in 2012 to 6.9ppg, 2.3rpg, 36% FG, 31.3% 3pt last season.
