What crap! Fans of all different clubs have been taking great delight in norwood's perceived decline.

I wasn't there yesterday, but Sturt are obviously a very good side these days so that's a big result for us. The last month has been pretty good, wins over Adelaide, West, Sturt and a 3 point loss to the Eagles. Hopefully we can consolidate from here.
I'm not sure they will be good enough either but they are obviously playing alot better than the star of the season. I just think fans need to stop over reacting to what happens in the first 5 or 6 weeks of the season. It was always going to take them some time to find their feet given the turnover of players. Now they are starting to gel and playing some pretty good football.
Yeah that's fair enough. I also don't think there's anything wrong with supporters losing faith or confidence in their club's chances. If they start bagging their club then that's a different matter.

Another great turn out at Unley. I remember that the Sturt v Adelaide game in round 2 got a crowd of 3,505, and that was bigger than any crowd at Unley last season, so this one has to be bigger than any crowd in at least a couple of years! Good to see Sturt in the mix again.
No Surrender!

While it was a sound turn out, I would have hoped for 4,500 considering the eastern suburbs derby and pretty good weather

@Wedgie
It is, so is Prospect and Elizabeth is in the far East although its looked more like the Middle East when I've been there some times.
Elizabeth is further East than Norwood!
I look forward to the South V Port Western Derby too!
Next Northern Derby between the Eagles and Norwood should be a ripper also!

Agree with bounce of the ball. Weather certainly was not great, that is unless either I imagined getting wet at the bay, or it was much better in the eastern (or is it?)
suburbs. Really good to see good numbers turning up at Unley!

Why do they call the cricket club East Torrens ?
The baseball club East Torrens ?
The lacrose club East Torrens ?
All these clubs are in the Norwood area.
As for a threat you only have to make the finals to be a threat as North showed last year, a few straight kicks away from a flag.
