Bye has come at a good time for our Bgrade we have limped in to the bye with a few injuries.
A bye can be good to those teams that have a few injuries. But it could also be bad to those teams that have momentum and it could stall the momentum in its tracks. I personally hate byes and would rather have a game to play each weekend if I was still playing full time.

Rubbish. All in the head.
So why is a bye seemed as an advantage come finals time?
If you're not good enough to continue your form after a bye then you ain't as good as you think you are.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
Especially when you have BOS as your next game. They look serious contenders so maybe we can put them off till the end of the season and play them twice in round 18 and then just go to the bar afterwards.

I read the bunyip article in the local rag Angle Vale have to stop whinging about the barossa league and Adelaide plains league on there doorstops why they dont have numbers at the club and that clubs pay players. i think all clubs have other clubs close by that are higher division or more advance clubs but gee dont whinge about it.
Angle Vale could pay players but they choose to spend all there money on the juniors and put 18k on a presentation day and lose over 10k on that day, no footy budget for the senior coach and footy director to work with.
They are in this situation for two reason last year side made GF but club only supported the A grade when the finals started and players noticed this thru the year that is reason why alot are not playing for the club this year, second reason is all committee care about is junior footy club is very spilt over seniors and juniors.
The club should definatelty drop there B grade only play A grade and concentrate on main game intsead of fielding two sides. Or from left field merge for the reminder of the season with Wingfield and do what MP and Flinders are doing at least takes pressure off the club due to numbers.
Quickly early comment someone said they have 60 players at AV but can not field two teams must be reason why boys do not want to play, can t be that many injuries.
Good Luck to B grade coach taking the regins it will be a tuff year my tip is they be not playing 6 or 7 next year but one team club playing c grade division next year will tarnish the club for years to come.
AV was warned about going thru to div 6 and they choose to so they have caused this to happen to there club really in the end no sympathy should be given.
But will be a cracker game this week aganist MP.
Mate you should really pull your head in, i wont have you having a go at my mate Bruce who i know busts his arse for that club. Like Norm said, you jumped shipped when you knew it was going to be hard, how about hanging around when the tought times are on mate
i think youll find BPWizard was last years coach & is with Trinity now.
Yes you are correct, how dare he not sell players alcohol after their liquor licence hours had expired. Then to get physical and verbally abused by so called club people is a joke.
Bye over. With one round to go the 5 looks settled already for mine. IF, Rossies and West Croydon look top 3 with great depth. Bos's top 10 players are outstanding but won't need any injuries through the winter and Lockleys also have plenty to choose from with their B's on top. Outside the 5 Fitzroy are good forward but lack quality and depth and CU have some good kids who are still learning and both clubs won't make it unless something strange happens. Just my view on what I've seen and unfortunately the team 'flying under the radar' are so far under it they have scraped their noses on the turf. They will look better after the next 2 games against AV and MP but need some injured players back real soon just to regain some respect.
10 games in a row now with no break. Good luck all and let's hope MP can gain a real scalp.
I suspect this season has a few more surprises to throw up yet, and I definitely wouldn't be counting out Fitzroy or CU of making a charge in the 2nd half of the season.
I agree I think Rosewater, Ingle Farm, Blackfriars and West Croydon look like locks for the top 5 - what order they finish in is anyones guess and the double chance/home final could prove pivotal.

No doubt there will be surprises PG but the reality is you will need 22 pts to make the 5. Lockleys win 6 of their last 10 they are home. Fitzroy need to win 7 and so do CU. ML need to win all 10. As I said the 5 is decided and Fitzroy and CU are the teams who will determine the positions. No one likes to get ahead of themselves but you set your season up in the 1st 8 games.
Rosies up by about 9 goals to united, but today was one of the worst umpiring displays ive seen this year for both sides.. I think centrals woukd think the same
