Re: Are the Bays Imploding?
Unfortunately after yesterdays game it is quite evident that Glenelg haven't got the skills or the football brain for a successful implosion

Re: Are the Bays Imploding?
Another year another implosion for the bays?
Yet to record a win and looking down the barrel at another spoon!!!
Has the coach lost the players?

Not for mine. They are starting off at the bottom but they have a lot more to work with now than a year ago. Will take some time to become well drilled but there's better signs for them

Come on JK, no room for intelligent discussion when there are trolls lurking.

Mate for all our success in recent years, I still well remember how far off it we were for a decade or so. Such a tough process to make up the ground, but it looks to me from last night and the Sturt game that you've improved your talent base. Then you need to bring an effort every week, and you certainly did last night. Now the key is to improve how it all comes together, which just simply takes time.

We have definitely improved our effort, but the glaring problem is our skill level. We also had a very turbulent pre season and are playing a bit of catch up. I look forward to a better showing at Pecker Park next week than in recent years.

0-1-4
Still have 2 games against Port, 2 against the Eagles and another against Norwood
In a 18 round season it's season over for the Bays already

Re: Are the Bays Imploding?
Maybe. Have seen them twice this year and their best is good enough. Like all developing sides, narrowing the game between best and worst is the key and their desire could not be faulted. Liked the game of number 15 , probably not a lot of possessions but tried his guts out . Alleway is more than competent and Milera is on the verge of dominating a game.

Have not won a second half this season
Well we all know a 34 year old who hasn't played in 2-3 years is the best runner at the club

Re: Are the Bays Imploding?
How long is Lokan contracted for? Given the short time frame was it just for this year?
Is he in any trouble of being fired if the bays don't win a game soon?
Could Massie be worth another try?
