Linke
Hines
Bennett
Slattery
Schneebichler
Butler
Baynes
Keam
Mousley
Palmer
Earl
Brooksby
Clarke
Fry
Harradine
White

I think that Ron Hateley missed with injury.
I'll have a go at the Port team shortly.

Rain and Greg Phillip's fist killed it off.
I think I fell asleep in the last quarter.
I was there but didn't recall that both Brooksby's didn't play.

Quite a few 200 game players for south in that team: Butler, Bennett, Brooksby & Palmer.
Was the Brooksby that played in this game Keegan's dad or uncle?

The Brooksby that played was Phil Brooksby, the right footed full back. The left footed Graham didn't play and overall didn't play nearly as much as Phil.
I have thought that Keegan was Phil's son, but I am not 100% on that fact.

Bloody hell, South must have had a fair group of cattle for this Port team NOT to finish up Minor Premier - Same great names here!!

Still is a fair Port team, scary to think that this was perhaps their "worst" team during the period from the mid 70s to mid 80's.
