No honeymoon period, he is just a caretaker. Need someone from outside the club to takeover who isnt affraid to axe players that have won titles galore but are past their use by date. Giggs is still too friendly with them and dont think he is capable of the hard decisions. The players need to wear a majority of responsibility for our shortcomings this season, think everyone knows our squad just isnt good enough
You can't make your mind up can ya Jim? First it's Moyes and now it's the players. make your mind up
Sound like Arsenal supporters then Wenger is apparantly outdated and cant coach but the players are no good according to supporters. Its possible to have both
I don't remember saying that. Don't include me in that category because others think that.[/quote]
I didnt say you but that is the general consensus of most Arsenal fans. Some clubs are brilliantly coached but dont have the cattle others are the opposite and some have a combination of both. Fact are sweeping changes are needed to keep pace with the Noisy neighbours, Liverpool the Chavs and even your lot. Last night once again showed how far behind we are

Payable over 3 years though. The Sheikh would have that money in his sock drawer. The squad restriction will hurt, only allowed to have a squad of 21 for the CL instead of the normal 25, 8 have to be British so it means only 13 foreigners can play in the CL next year.

media as usual have jumped the gun, as that's PSGs fine, not citys. citys to be advised over next few days
Stoke beat the baggies tonight and the scouse knock off the toon and we'll finish 9th on 50 pts. The highest place since re-entering the prem in 05.
Very happy with how Mark Hughes has the boys playing and hopefully next term we can continue in that vein and look towards Europe. Just have to improve our travel form...

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do
West Ham are already in party mode. Mancs to score twice within first 30 mins.
No relegation
Only real interest will be the battle for 6th spot between Spurs and United.
Doubt it Villa are a rabble and Spurs will get the point needed, no guarantee United will win anyway. I would rather not make the Mickey Mouse cup anyway. Our sole focus next season needs to be the league not some pissy little comp. The amazing thing is that a win tonight will make us the most successful side on the road this season in the EPL, just a pity the walls have caved in at the OT fortress
As predicted we didnt get the job done against Soton and Spurs trounced Villa. All attention on the league next season, dont think we can win it but reckon we get back in the 4, hopefully FFP hits Shiteh and they cant bring in much more, they were far from their best this year and still won the league, will be scary with a couple of addittions
Aston Villa chairman Randy Lerner is moving on and has put the club up for sale.
This will surely spell the end of manager Paul Lambert's tenure.
Hopefully the new owner/s, whoever they turn out to be, will bring optimism, enthusiasm and investment in playing personnel and that this triggers a turnaround in on-field performances.

Randy Lerner. That's an unfortunate name when you think about it I don't think he has the same resources or motivation to be spending £150m a year on recruitment. Whoever comes in you would think it spells the end for Lambert.

Thats a bit of a shock, his form hasnt been great though and hasnt played a lot of minutes. Probably a big negative of too many stars at the one club. Shiteh has hoarded up all these players and gives them stuff all game time in a World Cup year, definately things players should weigh up when deciding on moving clubs, is it better to be a bit part player at a big club or get plenty of game time at a lesser club
you can buy the world, but you cant fit 25 world class players into 11 on the field. Eventually these players will get the shits and want game time more and want to move on!
