PNU looked strong in the first half but slowly faded out allowing Broadview to overrun them. Boras had a field day kicking 8 or 9. PNU's inability to impact the scoreboard from many opportunities may have cost them the game. Positive is that there are still at least 4 or 5 players that will just walk straight back into the team.
Looked like a dark day at Walkerville on Saturday. The C grade had a good start in the 1st quarter but with Uni fighting back the game ended in a draw. In the B grade things didnt look so good. Prince Alfred were just too good running in big numbers and had some big contributors. Kane Moore, Zanks and Tommy Sinclair battled hard all day and tried everything they could to close the gap. But at the end of the game, Prince Alfred were too good. And the bad luck continued into the A grade with Prince Alfred running over top by quite a few.
So hopefully after the Easter break and with a few inclusions, the mighty Cats can bounce back against Broadview on ANZAC day and forget about the games already played.

Please don't get ahead of yourself! It is only round 3 and you don't win premierships in April and May!
Don't get me wrong I absolutely understand that but I am quietly confident After all it wouldn't be a true grand final without a black & white team fighting for the premiership

Charlie was away re family business, lets not start rubbish. Nothing to see here, move on

In the A grade, Broadies got away well but Walkies piled on the pressure and fought back well to take the lead late in the 3rd.
Few moves made by the Weed, steadied the ship and Broadies came away with the points.
Walkies are way better than zip and 3, their forward line pressure in the 2nd and 3rd 1/4 was unreal and that got them right back in the game.
Also what a great crowd, apart from hosting a G/F last year i cannot remember a crowd that big at Broadview in the last 5 to 6 years
Good day put on by the Broadview FC today. Like you said, our boys fought hard to get the lead but werent able get the win. i dont think our first win is far away though.
Well done to Ryan Madden for winning the ANZAC Medal. He got smashed in the 2nd quarter in a marking contest but still rucked for 90% of the game. I didnt hang around to hear who got the BOG Medal though
