McKernan edges him IMO, terrible player

He walked past me 3 times yesterday and he really is a big unit with a great build but he certainly isn't the answer the Crows questions.

Triple M footy last night rated Shaun McKernan as the worst player currently in the AFL. Cant argue with that at the moment

I think it was Gerard Healy that labelled him the next big thing. Zero marks yesterday suggests he's still yet to arrive

It does prove how good he was given the ball at Geelong compared to now, there has been a fair amount of expectation on an older afl player. Corey's brother is horrible, why we picked him and not Jenkins is a mystery to me.

Pods looked done towards the end of last year. He was clearly taken as insurance until Tex can return to the side. Pods' game is all about contested marking and working hard to mark around the ground. Once the ball hits the deck he is unlikely to impact the contest. Towards the end of the season last year I noticed that his chest had turned to rubber and he was dropping marks.

If Pods isn't marking the ball he isn't really offering anything to your side except for a slower forward for a running defender to exploit and that is why Geelong gave him the tap on the shoulder.

regards,

REB

Exactly what I've been saying. Except I thought it extended into 2012, as well. Pods has been looking ponderous for some time.

10 Beau Maister - ST KILDA -if only changing your name could actually Make you a better player. Don't give up on your carpentry Mr Beau!!!!

9 Tony Armstrong - COLLINGWOOD/SYDNEY/C&$@s - 3 clubs/drink driving charges later Tony finds himself again at Last Chance Saloon . Hopefully with a cab ready and waiting outside.

8 Kepler Bradley - FREMANTLE - crowd fav at this event. Fremantle as measure of Keplers success as the club. handed an opportunity to fellow bomber big man Scott Gumbleton. Will Gumby be able to attract 5 Kennys like Kepler. Only time will tell.

7 James Strauss - Melbourne - it has been a struggle for Strauss to find himself a regular spot in a very steady Melbourne midfield over the past 5 seasons. His retention on Melbournes list was key evidence against the dees in their tanking investigation. Congrats on your first Kenny Straussy!!

6 mark Austin - western bulldogs- 30 games in 6 years for Austin and every single one of them has been quality. Drafted to hold Bryce Gibbs's hand in the early days surprisingly found himself at Western Bulldogs where he has improved his output to be one of the undisputed spuds in the league. Congrats on your 3rd Kenny!!!

5 Trent Dennis-lane - sydney/St Kilda - fair to say TDL has struggled with the work rate required to play AFl. Especially the work rate of playing as a forward pocket. Traded to st Kilda for some naked photos of Kim Duthie. Congrats on your first Kenny TDL.

4 Cameron Hitchcock - Port - "amazing this guy is still on a list. only plausible reason was for Port to help sweeten Its proposed entry into SANFL as Port knew Glenelg would not resist Hitchcocks departure. Congrats on your 2nd Kenny Cam

3 Angus Graham -Adelaide- only reason Angus is still on a list is just in case Sam Jacobs falls down a flight of stares. Even then the crows would try others first. but rest assured if those others didnt work out and the crows were playing GWS,Melbourne then 100% definitely Angus would be selected. Congrats on your first and long overdue Kenny Angus.

2. Cameron Shenton - St Kilda- how do you know if saints are tanking for draft picks ??? They trade ben Mcevoy and Nick Dal Santo and Cameron Shenton is selected to play. Only when Saints have missed out on finals have ten players sent for early post season surgery will he ever be considered. Trying to find a position as wingman, full forward, half back flanker, quality vfl footballer ??

Shents is quality. He needs to be given an opportunity FFS. He has more ability in his ass cheek than you will ever have. Trust me when I say the man known as "Sex Panther" will when given a genuine crack play some good football.

I didnt think he did enough at Norwood to justify being drafted, would like to see him get a decent run in the AFL but I dont think he is up to it

It's easy to sit here and bag Shents and you are all entitled to an opinion but I had the pleasure of coaching the lad and I believe his good hands and sound foot skills given the oppurtunity will show his worth. To be fair you are all writing him off before he has been given a real chance
