what a laugh, so you beat your chest cos south voted no, did you have any input? mine didnt listen to its members and the same can be said for the other clubs that voted yes
Actually Yes, all South members were invited to a forum organised by the Board a week or too before the vote. All board members were in attendance, without stating their intended position... The feeling from the members was that a resounding No vote should be adopted. South Adelaide as the oldest SANFL club voted ,NO.

Nice Dad joke !!!!
.... And YES I can beat my chest as our club listened with a meeting of its members .... Unlike your club and yourself who beat off something else !!!
I was more against it than you, ......FFS . It's happened and no one listened. Repeat NO ONE listened. Every real fan read the bullshit and every real fan knew in their heart of hearts that the SANFL was going to accept AFL reserves.
There is no point fingering North fans, or Norwood fans or any other fans for that matter. Everyone knew what the outcome was going to be and anyone who thought otherwise was just being deluded.
So it's here and that is it. So get off your arses and support your SANFL team and don"t let these buggers win. I love North and despite what has happened and who voted for what, I still love my team. I can't help it, North are my team.

Unfortunately the act of going to games and supporting my club will be construed as tacit approval of the rancid new 'competition' so, and I speak only for myself, can't see that happening.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'
yep my club voted yes so i voted yes..............go suck a fat one willya, bloody souf with great facilities, huge area in which to garner support and quality players and youse are as shitty as ever lol

And you not going will change what ??
Not about making a change jtc, although it might make some people think have they made the right decision. Isn't it going to be reviewed annually?
I'm sure topsy has an even more local team that he can support and get his footy fix.

Won't change a thing I know but at least I won't be helping to perpetuate what is now a completely farcical competition.
As TSG says, you have to draw a line somewhere.

Well, as promised I am now officially a member of the South Adelaide Football Club. Explained to the football club admin why I was doing it, and she was very grateful for the support. My three game pass will be going to a fellow South member to take friends along.
