Would have been one of the best players Horse has coached is Bombers4EVA

APFL is WAY above SAAFL Div 6. Even though United didn't have a great 2013 & Rosies have reportedly recruited very well on top of their 2013 side, AND having a very clever coach - if the cockies are not too tired, they will win well.

BOS played Marion last week and were successful and then Westminster and Trinity last night and were successful in both from what I've read in other forums. They seem to be preparing well for 2014, their 9th year in the SAAFL.

The Jets are looking for a trial(s) this Saturday at Thebby for our B and C grade sides (or a single game for a combined side or whatever).

We have the oval booked and currently have the A grade vs Keith and an internal organised for the 2s and 3s.

PM me if anyone is interested in a trial.

If by heavy and slow you mean won by 8 goals with no ruckman then you are spot on

Bs/Cs first 3/6ths, As 2nd 3/6ths.

I'm sure United had a few quality players out, and us having the wind for 2 of the 3 A grade quarters certainly helped us.
