Re: SS SA v NSW 3-6 March
Just thought i would go for a nervous fish before the real stuff starts tonight
But in all seriousness though the quality batsmen have a much better ton ratio than 9 hundreds and 27 fifties

Hehehe
Only if Ferg grew a pair and didnt choke in the 90's![]()
Ferg Makes Watson look like Bradman with only 9 hundreds from 36 scores over 50
Compare that to the blonde done 16 hundreds from 41 scores over 50 and u can see the class difference
I reckon Ferg is a much different and improved batsman over the last 18 months to what he was before that. His application in the long form of the game now matches his talent. Hopefully he gets a chance in the baggy green over the next couple of years.

also why he doesnt average more than 40 at first class level, something that should be a requirement to get into the Aussie side at minimum

Re: SS SA v NSW 3-6 March
Peter Nevill under pressure yesterday was superb
4/105 when he came in to bat after this seasons run machine Ryan Carters was dismissed for a safe 65
With
Copeland
Abbott
Okeefe
Hazelwood
Rug
to follow , had Peter been dismissed cheaply SA would have been highly favored to win
He was neat
He was patient
His driving was a feature
Off all the wicket keepers I've seen over the years, this guy arguably plays with the straightest bat of them all ,
Bowlers have to earn his wicket
71 [188] might be a slow innings, but for a keeper to do that was very very good

Is this where we talk about the rolling stones concert? Brilliant idea to have it just before footy starts.

SA can still win but need to show some intent in the first hour tomorrow. Hope both sides dont just play out a dull draw

I'm not normally negative but a draw here and I reckon we finish the round top with a run rate.
With WA and NSW playing each other last game and hopefully we don't get belted at worst we could still finish second??
Hoping that one of WA NSW doesn't get first innings points and the other then wins outright obviously.
We beat Tassie we host the final

Queensland about to win outright against WA which gets them only 4 points behind us.
They finish with the Vics and could leap us

Yep true, mentioned that scenario in an earlier post but forgot again. Guess we will all be shitting ourselves next round..

Re: SS SA v NSW 3-6 March
SA lead by 158 with 22 overs left today. Go at 4 RPO and have a lead by 244 at stumps. Bat for 20 overs Tommorow lead by 340 to 360 and give them self 70 overs to get them out. And NSW have to go at 5 an over to score the runs

Re: SS SA v NSW 3-6 March
If Cooper keeps going like this, we might be able to get a touch over two sessions at them without a real risk of losing outright. Around 300 in front and declare half hour before lunch (or whatever it is called in a d/n match).

Didn't realise there was still 22 overs left. Your scenario looks better for us.

If he gets caught pulling with two men on the fence and we collapse after dropping Nevill today I'll go off me rocker!!

probably won't get the 22 overs though. Only have 47 minutes left to bowl the overs. NSW won't wanna push through eitherAerie wrote:the joker wrote:SA lead by 158 with 22 overs left today. Coops now leads the comp in runs for the season. Needs another 150 runs this year to pass 1000 runs
