Thirsty little bastards invaded the galley in the Boon Lodge too.

1 hour and 45 minute drive to work this morning courtesy of the weather. It took me 1 hour to get from Mawson Lakes to the Grand Junction road / Churchill Road intersection.

At least the gardens wont need to be watered for about a month given the water levels in mawson lakes at the moment!

I've been wrong on here before, but it looks like the next phase is going to be North of Adelaide metro area. Might hit Port Wakefield > Clare and North of that.

Spot on, Scoob.

People do like to whinge at the weather's expense, don't they?

Rain doesnt bother me- I love it!

Just amazing how a fair bit of water can increase metropolitan travel time (in some cases) by as much as over 2 hours.

One woman on the radio left from golden grove to drop her daughter at school in the city at 7:30, and was still not there when she called at 9:50.

Crazy stuff!

My local ant plague only emerged after the rain when a nest of jumping ants got flooded out and tried to move into my garage.
Poor buggers - out of the flood into the Ant-Rid.

Fortunately, I'd just put my new drainage system in around the house a week or so ago - the back verandah used to be under 50mm of water every moderately heavy rain. Not even damp this time.

($90 worth of pipe and fittings, and $150 for someone to work with me to dig most of the trenches and do the lifting and reseating of the pavers.)
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
