Isn't it amazing former South Australian football greats who wore that jumper before the crows came into existence talked down on the crows wearing it. Honestly what right do the crows have of wearing that Jumper sweet F.A. correct me if I am wrong and I will be happily corrected but weren't the crows at the time against State of Origin football? Weren't they complaining that their "Stars" May get injured in a meaningless game and pretty much killed it. Now they want to claim the rights to that jumper. I got two words for them **** OFF. I am a Victorian and even I disagreed with the Crows wearing that jumper. That would be like the Western Bulldogs demanding the AFL they should be allowed to wear the big white V because Teddy Whitten wore that jumper 31 times and the was the chairman of selectors. I am glad the SANFL have finally stood up to the crows and said no to them. To all you crow Wanks saying the Crows were founded on 9 clubs it was 10 people forget Woodville. Also the crows were only founded because Port went to the AFL and said OI we want in. The then SANFL crapped themselves and hastily made the crows up so that they could prevent the Magpies getting into the AFL. Port played the hand the AFL wanted. Because back in 1986 the then VFL wanted a SA team with a WA team into the VFL and they were told the South Australian public are not ready for VFL football. Even as far back as 1981 when a combined Port-Norwood side was offered South Melbourne's VFL License and the SANFL turned it down.
No AFL team has the right to a State jumper West Coast copped flack for wearing the WA one back in 2007 and the last time the crows did try this stunt they has to ADD the AFC on the front as the SANFL then said no to them using SA. The team for all South Australian is just a marketing stunt much like The University of Texas using we are Texas.
