There is no reference to the APPS and junior performance.

If Two Wells and Balak lose points for their junior programs then that is an absolute disgrace.

would think Mallala would too then, junior colt premiers 2011,senior colt grand finals 2012/2013,junior colt premiers 2013 and would be ahead of balaklava 2011 junior runner up,2012 junior premiers,no senior colts in grand finals since 2011

Doesn't happen. I think HC might be confused with some other discussion. Nothing to do with APPS.

United v Salisbury confirmed for the 23rd, believe we're playing Mallala on March 16 as well in a tribute to CR#5, hopefully an annual thing from now on.

I think he's suggesting that a club had lost points due to a strong junior program. That would really only leave 2 clubs. I'm 99.9% positive TW never lost import points because of it and I'm sure Balak haven't either. Onsong would know though. I think hairy cat has been drinking

When the points system first came in 4 or so years ago, the original proposal by the board had a formula that also included losing points if your Senior colts had won a certain % of games the season prior. However this was unanimously voted out by the clubs and has never been apart of our points system.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Do you think that in a years time, young Charlie A is a worst player for coming through a weak U17 comp. I think not - he will be just as good. Hasn't seem to have impacted on Harry G's form.

I was simply saying to have a look at some of the younger talent. Take a relax tab mate..

firstly, *worse,

Secondly, yes I do some what. I am taking the side of Magpieeagle (for want of a better term). The APFL has built a "bigfish syndrome" - in SOME CASES. Not knowing Charlie I am not going to comment on how this will affect his development. As a generalisation what I have noticed is that Junior/younger players get told how they good they are to a point that builds false confidence even if they do "dominate" underage football (a pool of around 130 registered under 17s in 2013). Once it is time to enter the senior system (A grade and Reserve's football - a pool of about 350 players) the opportunities are less, the numbers are greater and due to low numbers in u/17s they do not have the knowledge, and at times the character to work for/earn what they want and often deserve. I will reiterate, I am not attacking past, present or future players or coaches but this is my observation and opinion.

In short players like Charlie Arbon & James Speissegger (BFC), Tyler Darwin & Dylan Collings (HBFC), Joshua Appleby (HWFC), Nik Seccafien and Doc heron (TWFC), Ryan Konzag & the Coe brothers (MFC) would benefit from playing in a stronger underage comp.

Coe brothers!! sorry lol, only one coe maybe thinking oleary twins

Yeah that's the ones! hahaha

Ah. Well, yes, as explained by the Unicorn, this is not in place and never has been since I've been around here.

Home or away for which Pag?
Led to believe it will be at Mallala, then hopefully alternating venues annually.

Sounds like a good day and might be a few who turn up. Hopefully a few APFL team mates of Rim can get there if not playing other trials or cricket.
