Does Schapelle Corby stand to make any money from the upcoming miniseries on Channel 9? I ******* hope not.

Isn't there a law stating that people can't make money off their crimes? Or does that only pertain to crimes committed on Australian soil?

Seeing as it didn't happen on Australian soil and was never convicted under any australian law. I would say yes she can. And if she couldn't it only last for a few years, so she would in the long run. I still think there is money already waiting for her back home to cover someones ass.

I was wondering about him, although the U.S. Government deemed his charge to be invalid, as that specific law didn't exist at the time. However, we all know he was terrorist sympathizer, but to spend 6 years at Gitmo under those conditions was rough.

That's the thing about breaking the law in another country, you have no right to complain when the punishment seems harsh.

I don't want to get technical (and not saying I agree or disagree either way) but why do they call it the drug and Alcohol council/drug and alcohol services/drug and alcohol anything if Alcohol is a drug?

Doesn't surprise me. I've seen a fair few guys that are taking juice, and i've trained with guys that are on juice. But because someone is on steroids and going to the gym doesn't make them a body builder. Natural body building is a very clean sport, I've spoken to guys that have competed and have been tested up to 4 times in 1 comp. Natural body builders are tested more then any other sport in Australia.

Sad that people are taking such a dangerous drug all for vanity. Even sadder when they are taking such a dangerous drug, and end up looking ridiculous.
