How so?
If any player makes demands be they salary (or otherwise as a lot of us are aware from the past) why would you risk pissing off the rest of the team because one person gets different rules than the rest?
Our midfield was good last year because everyone stepped up.
I love Jimmy and his family but as I said this time last year I thought James Bennett would leave a much bigger hole.
If other clubs want to risk over paying one player (and possibly going over the salary cap as they don't mind fines and recruiting impositions that'll probably get overturned but never would for us) and/or giving different regimes to different players at the risk of disuniting their playing list then so be it but we used to do that in the past and it got us nowhere.
It wasn't a coincidence that Jimmy left when Francou was at North and IMHO Francou was easily the best coach we've had since Nunan.
Also remember he struggled to get on the park last year in a lesser comp and he turns 29 soon.
I wish Jimmy well wherever he ends up, he'll have a soft spot in North supporters hearts forever but I'd rather continue to go forward as a club than backwards.

Norwood have their eye on 5 players and confident of signing the preferred two. Bartlett would be one of those two.
Can not see Glenelg or Eagles getting him under the salary cap at this late stage.

Not disputing the other points you've made, imho North looked far more dangerous last season, but still think they've insulted a club great through this process.

I think you'll find Allan hasn't been chasing anywhere near the money he was once on. $2.5k per game is miles off as I understand.

Who couldn't get a question answered at an AGM because the board and CEO were scared of what I would ask?
Who was screaming blue murder when our major sponsor got to send a letter around in a club envelope?
Who was one of the biggest critics of some if the happenings under Jarman?
Who was part of a group that took the club on when the club wanted to merger?
Who was one of the clubs biggest critics in the whole reserves debacle?

What a xxxxing stupid statement to say North botched the GF !!!!! I thought they did a fantastic job against a dominant team and maybe ran out of legs late in the game. Ask the Norwood players if North botched it ! Norwood EARNED that premiership against a worthy opponent.
