If you're searching the internet in the middle of the night for cures, only to pour baby oil in your ear then it isn't a higher being who will be the master of your demise.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

For now!

Are you aware of the side-effects of the oil if it stays in contact with the ear drum?

I suggest you wash that oil out with a good dose of sodium hydroxide.

I've heard that dropping small ball bearings in your ear can help get rid of baby oil, if you were silly enough to put baby oil in your ear in the first place.

That is what was recommended through the US National Library of Medicine, I'm going to trust them before I trust randoms on the internet.

Woke up in the middle of the night with a fluttering feeling inside my ear, thinking to myself wtf is going on, then it clicks a fuarking insect has crawled inside my ear. I am thinking I'm just about to drop dead when the little critter reaches my brain. Well a quick google search and I pour loads of baby oil into my ear like recommended. Now I do not know if the bug came out but the fluttering feeling ceased. So I currently may have a dead bug deep inside my ear, further research shows it might of been something called Tinnitus and not a bug.

life is bliss

Incidentally I suffer from tinnitus. Have never felt anything remotely like a bug fluttering in my ear. So what you are feeling must be an actual bug. :D

I know were beating a dead horse here - but the mentality of some Adelaide drivers gives me the shits.

Big ford pick up cuts me off this morning on North East Road to do a DOUBLE lane change so he can turn right onto Mullers Road and then has the nerve to give ME the bird.

Fargwit.

yeah, turns out a significant number of adelaide drivers believe that if they have their indicator on to change lanes that people in that lane have to give way to them..... he was probably one of those. i have had the same happen to me, and the oxygen thief then had a go at me at the lights, cos i nearly hit him!! thats what happens when you are stationary and you pull into the next lane in front of a car doing 70k, lol.

i found out when a workmate showed me the "crap adelaide drivers" facebook page (however i have suspected it for a while). one of the videos there had everyone teeing off at a driver for "not letting the other car in" and causing the problem. most of whom were claiming it was illegal to not give way to the car changing lanes, until one person linked the relevant legislation and they all went quiet

Well if he had an ounce of common sense in the first place, my guy should've been in the correct lane to begin with.

FFS, it's not rocket science ;)

Given that I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, I was in the frame of mind to let him suffer and miss his turn off.

They may be picking that up from Victoria where it is the rule - or was when I lived there between 1999 and 2009.
In SA it pays not to indicate too soon as the guy/gal behind you will, if sufficiently warned, accelerate to reduce the gap and stop you changing lanes in front of them. (I assume they don't want their view up the lane they own impaired.)

I give way to anyone who's front bumper is in front of mine.

Isn't that the rule?

The thing that shits me the most is not getting a wave when I let people in. Thats when I start yelling "Where's my **** wave ****?!?"

At a zip lane, yes.
