The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

FFS, choked in the 90s again. He should just go the tonk in the 90s or hope for a few lucky edges for four
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Must really be starting to eat at the poor lad
where the side rallies around him, he obviously has loads of talent and work on that side of it.
One thinks when the 1st one comes it will be a big one and the start of plenty more to come.
Been many many players over the years struggle to get that 1st ton and then go on and make loads of them
Life is about moments, Create them

Re: SS SA v Tas
I was so disappointed for him, he played very well and I'm still not sure he hit it. I reckon he hit the ground
The grass has improved since last week but every time a ball is hit into the ground a cloud if sand puffs up. Hope it settles a lot more before the test.

Re: SS SA v Tas
As disappointing as it is to get out in the 90s again, Head is going to be a star player for a long time. When was the late time we had such a talented young batsman?

Re: SS SA v Tas
In the end for Head, it was a stupid shot to play , the ball was too wide

The Southern Stand will open from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, with the public invited to walk through Level One of the Stand – entering via the Southern Plaza, Adelaide Oval’s main new entrance at the War Memorial Drive end.
SACA Members have also been invited to access the new Neil Kerley and Peter Carey bars on Level Three of the Southern Stand – offering great views of the Bupa Sheffield Shield clash with Tasmania.

Re: SS SA v Tas
SA 5/273 at lunch.
Botha 59 not out
Ludeman 25 not out
Butterworth the pick of the bowlers with 3/71 off 28
First innings points a certainty here for the 'Backs.

I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Re: SS SA v Tas
Remember last year when Chuck had Kane Richo coming into bat at number 3 in shield cricket? Last year was a rabble, good to see the Redbacks finally settling down and putting a solid team in the 11. Still think Botha should be batting 7, but Ludeman is also no higher than 7. If they keep making 30's and 40's thats probably not a bad return.
