There's way too much Cold Chisel on this list for my liking.

Good list.

I saw the Pharaohs at the BDO. Blew me away.
Loved the Mandlebrot Set and saw Flat Stanley a couple of times.

I could add Jump to Fly (?) by Colourwheel. Loved that track.

If the Angels counts as South Australian then so does GANGgajang. Bidstrup and Bailey in both bands, and keyboardist Geoffery Stapleton was also a Croweater.

From that list, I plump for:

Picked up an Exploding White Mice CD for $1 at a garage sale the other day and it bought back memories of Adelaide's Greasy Pop Record label in the early 1980's with bands such as Exploding White Mice , Where's the pope, The Dagoes , Mad Turks from Instanbul .

Is Icehouse (Flowers) and Adelaide band? Not a fan of their later stuff but I love the song 'Icehouse'. Noticed a lot of Cold Chisel hate on this site as well. Now if it's Barnsey solo I can understand that but nothing wrong with Chisel.

Icehouse (Flowers) were formed in Sydney and Iva Davies is a born and bred New South Welshman.

Personally I'll pass on Chisel thanks, but you probably guessed that..

Went to A Day On The Green last year at Peter Lehman Wines & Rick Brewster said that Adelaide is the home of The Angels.
