Excellent question Jimmy, sorry it took a while to get back.

I had a bit of a look around for something relevant, came across this from 2011:-

http://www.news.com.au/national/the-pok ... 6040008910

With a few quick calculations it appears that around $60,000 per machine per annum is pretty consistent across the board.

Assuming (?) a similar take for the Casino's machines, it appears to me that the Casino figures aren't included.

Again, sorry for the delay.

It's a bit deceptive but the Unley calculations were there, you might have just needed to scroll down inside the "code" panel / window.

I can't recall needing to do that in the old site format. (?)

Gee, there's more revenue where there's more machines, ground breaking stuff.

I rely on my I-phone for the Internet. There's probably details I can't see/access that others can.
Clicking on the link I can see overall gaming for Unley, but without a population or per capita figure.
Even with a per capita figure, as you correctly pointed out, some areas will bring in punters from outside their zone, Adelaide esp but also Norwood.

I see in the Barossa Herald that Matt Benson has taken up a Business Manager role with Tony McEvoy up at Angaston.... Back to the racing industry.

My info is he was forced out of Sturt by the board.

The memorabilia scandal being an example of a screw up, as it turns out nothing was stolen.

Screw up by who? Or are you inferring it turned out to be a non-screw up?

Nothing was stolen, stuff was just in a cupboard somewhere.

Club is being threatened with a law suit for defamation by the wrongly accused.

That's my understanding.

The wrongly accused is owed a public apology IMO.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Any suggestion that Matt Benson was forced out by Sturt is utter rubbish, Maybe those inferring anything other than this should deal in facts over fiction.

My information comes from three sources and I know which board member led the charge...

So I have faith in what I've been told.

Unfortunately its not likely the full story will ever be publicised.

Sounds like a club screw up then.
One thing about Benson, and this is just based on my on what I saw of him as a player and when he fronted up at the save Sturt rallies in the 90's, he always seemed to have the club's best interests at heart. That's worth a helll of a lot, and I always felt good knowing he was still involved at Unley somehow.

If he was publically accused and that accusation turns out to be false then of course.

Well, and not for the first time on this forum, CS Bowes you are emphatically wrong.

8 posts... well you've been around a while.

Well what are your sources, not asking names. I'm guessing you might know or are a board member, which would be interesting.

I can only put forward what I've been told. If it's wrong, I'll have no way of knowing since I'm not on the board, but I have no reason to doubt the people who told me this or that.

Big Phil has the same info as me, so its not just me you're saying has it wrong.

Maybe you're wrong? Always possible.

Can your sources confirm if the memorabilia story is true?
