Makes it easy to award the AFL superstars slumming it in the reserves dodgy frees though.

The umpires already have a clash uniform for sides that have predominately white guernseys so i don't think the uniform will change

Another chapter in the 'only in Adelaide' series.

Could you imagine a Melbourne based AFL team 're-naming' the MCG!!!

That's why the umpires wore green shirts when South wore white guernseys.

I thought it was because those umpires were part of the green shirt/beginners umpires program....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The Western Bulldogs were referring to Docklands as "Doglands" when that stadium was first used. I think one of the other tenants was doing a similar thing as well. As cringeworthy as the Ravens.

At least Dog and lands are actual words. Crowval is forced, try-hard bullshit. It rings of tired cliches like "something to crow about" and makes me think of that Foodland ad that came out when the Crows first started, the one that had all the Foodland staff cheering in slow motion, while a voice over assured us how much Foodland supports the Crows. I'd say the sort of people that think "Crowval" is witty, would be the same sort that need a giant sign to tell them when to cheer at a football game.

I really can't believe anyone would want to to follow this team!
Over spruiked, under achieving, poorly run by a boy's club..... and now running the show in the SANFL

Get over yourselves boys. Who really cares about who call it what, it is no big deal, the sooner every one starts calling it ADELAIDE OVAL like it has been called since the first Steer and Ram were chased off it all those years ago, the sooner all those silly witty names will be forgotten the better. Might be best if we all tuned into the facts about your footy club who ever you follow and let the gimmicks fall by the wayside.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

Mate, I'm not sure what the actual buzz is in Adelaide as I live in Japan, but I know what you're saying that we should be adult and move on, but Crowval? Come on, a line's been drawn in the sand, there has to be some sort of opposition made.

Biggest bunch of whingers ITT

The world will not implode when the crows reserves come in.

Similarly, Adelaide Crowval is pretty cringeworthy but it's just a bit of marketing fun they picked up from twitter, they aren't about to go around and call it that in every press conference.

I think once next season gets underway people will wonder what all the fuss was about

Agree that Crowval is horrible but really those fuddy duddies can harp on about whatever they like. In the end Adelaide Oval has more history and tradition then there club so it will always be Adelaide Oval to most people that as was said earlier wont need a sign to cheer 8-)

I reckon its a good name, I might take advantage of the fact Adelaide Crowval is right next to the Torrens and Crow Crow Crow My Boat there.

Crowval, like it or not it's got people talking, which i'd expect is exactly what they wanted.
Trust the process.
