Maybe after Bassett's performance at the corresponding press conference last year even the journalists aren't interested this time around!

Pity, if West had made it they could have invited Jace to accompany Collo and figjam.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

The event for the public is on Saturday at the Rundle Mall.
I dont expect the thing to by telecast in the normal use of the word. BUT, with the advent of the Internet and youtube I would have thought that it would have been very easy to load it up as another way of promoting the SANFL GRAND FINAL. How hard is that to do?
I,m just a braindead chippy but it seems pretty logical to me that you would take every opportunity to market your marquee game. I am not a media guru but it is ludicrous to think you would have at least 3 tv stations there recording it from go to whoa and not organize to get something to put up on your website.
What are the SANFL media managers there for ? Bloody joke. Maybe I wont bother next year either.

Surely its a bigger issue they stopped The Recovery Session during finals to "Cut Costs" when they still haven't paid a cent for it all year!

If North can get their running game going it could be quite a high scoring affair as Norwood also know how to find the big sticks.
Hope Shannon gets up this week for the Roosters have been impressed with what I have seen of him during the finals.
What's the word on Thring? He didn't look good, is he any chance of getting up for it?
Also what happened to Luke Ivens has he been injured or did he retire?
Well said. Both teams have big supporter bases so I am hoping for a 40K+ crowd.
North's injuries and being able to run out the game after 3 tough finals on the way to the GF would normally be a concern, but they have shown that their fitness isn't a worry for them at all.
This game is going to be a lot closer than the result was between these two teams a few weeks ago.

That footage is amazing. Thanks for that. But I've booked my air ticket now, so I'm scaling down my lobbying to have the return bout 60 years later also staged at the SCG this Sunday!therisingblues wrote:

I couldn't get it confirmed on the Adelaide Metro website, but can anyone confirm if they are running buses direct from the City to AAMI Stadium on Sunday (and how often)?

I saw a tweet yesterday saying they weren't doing any footy express buses. There are some normal buses that can get you to West Lakes though. The B10, 117, 157 and H30 take you there.

Whether you use the Footy Express or not, a portion of the 40,000 Port memberships and 50,000 Adelaide memberships pay for that service.
I think, from memory, it's about $4-5 per person per year. ( 90,000 * 4/5 )

What a load of crap!
Back in the day they had footy park express buses for every minor round game played there. Even South vs Woodville would have buses leaving every twenty minutes or so from Currie Street.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
