Doe's anyone know if Liam Harris (lonsdale/osb) got picked in the association team? A bit stiff not to make it last year considering he finished 3rd or 4th in the mail medal? Hav'nt seen his name in the paper much tho! its been all baxter!

Dont think Harris is in association team as he has missed most of the season due to a knee injury but he certainly was stiff last year. If he played for a top 6 club would have made it . Gun player who is hard at it and very clever.

Certainly has been all Baxter this year when he is not at South and he doesnt mind telling us about it !! I think it is about time South promoted more young locals and gave them a fair dinkum crack instead of buying in recruits and guys who havent made it at other clubs. Give a guy 5 games to find his feet and see if he is up to it instead of dragging them on and off the ground and then axeing them. Their are plenty of players in the sfl who could make it if given the chance. Some guys dont want to put in the hard yards but to those that do give em a go !!

Anderson admitted that he didnt react to a few things on the weekend that did hurt the end result which is fair enough but i dont think that flooding our key forwards is out coached? We'll see if he uses the same tactics in the next clash. Reynella your right they were Harder faster and better prepared for this match we didnt deserve to win at all but if you think that because of 1 lost that the Cove are done then you'd be a fool it is only Rnd 7.

A Graders out tho is a poor cop out Perfect world we play our best sides everyweek 100% but the side that takes the park is your A grade side regardless of who they are. Injuries, work etc etc are all apart of footy and its not about who is missing its about who plays and who fills those gaps and obviously whoever did, did it well for you.[/quote]

I dont think Cove are gone I didn't say that they were simply beaten by a better side on the day there is a long way to go in this season!!!

As Lion Heart said Liam has had a knee injury, but was still picked. He came out Tuesday night to see if he could get through practice and give it a go Saturday, but unfortunately was still feeling it pretty badly and looks like he won't be right by game day.

Any reason why Ryan Wade didnt make the association side? Surely he wasnt cut tall enough and good enough to and played last year. I see Drew Graham from Cove made the side he was playing B grade for the first half of the year and got a spot in the A's a few weeks ago thats a fair turn of form.

Ryan Wade pulled out of the squad right from the time he was initially put in

What are our thoughts on this Saturday nights game? I know nothing about the KNTFL but i like the concept of the Saturday night game under lights. I would imagine that they will get a bumper crowd along... Does anyone know how our side will go?? Graham in the ruck is a concern for me as he was only picked to play ones about a month ago because Padroth and Gill broke down and they didn't want to move Platten from full back!!!! Ciampa rucked really well saturday!! They still have to cut 3 from the squad of 25 tonight i think....Any ideas who they will be?

Well if Russel Hart isn't one of the 3 that gets cut, and is included in the "best 22" the league has to offer, its a joke.
He is fat and slow, i can think of 100 younger and more talented SFL players who should have made the squad ahead of him, including other Aldinga players.

If the league wants to showcase its "best 22" with an overated and overpaid lump like him its no good, Surely they would want to showcase a fit young running side!!!

He is a good player and will get better but i think that Todd Cece may miss he did get a fair touch up by Weidermann in the first half it wasn't until Reynella took him off of him and put 3 opponents on him that he went quiet.

Does anyone know whether Mods or Nigel Fiegert are playing for the KTNFL? If so, it would be worth going down just to watch those 2 in action.

I have heard that Fiegert is the coach, After kicking 17 goals a few weeks ago you would think they could squeeze him in.

Guess you'll be happy to know then Petoe that Russel Hart was one of the 3 cut.

They trained very sharp, looked good. Only a short session, but a good one.
Jamieson comes across very well. Hard job trying to put together a side like this without seeing too much of them.
Can't remember too much of the team, Scott McKenzie ruck rover, Josh Vick rover, Manhood HBF, Tedmanson full back, Todd Johnson coming off the bench, Heath back pocket, big Cove bloke full forward, Sam Way forward pocket, big Marion bloke might have been CHF. Too many new faces and new names to keep track off.

Word I got this morning was the same McEntee CHF and Ramsey FF, King Centre, Sitters CHB interesting one was Tedmanson FB. Last night was his first session with the squad and I thought he was a South player????? You'd be a bit dirty i reckon if you were cut last night because Tedmanson has come back from South.....Southern League hey... I do agree however with the 3 that were cut....do not know much about Hart though.....Very strong bodied spine tho which is what they'l need as i'd expect the KNTFL to have some hardened bodies....

Only thing I can spot with the side is that there is no back up ruckman......Looks like McEntee or Ramsey will have to do a bit!!!
