Re: Division C4 2013
Glenunga don't win enough games for their players to figure prominently.
Foody only played 7 games for Lockleys otherwise he would've won it I think - lack of games will cost him, may only poll a dozen votes
Heng from Mitchell Park is their key winger, they run a lot of their traffic through him, he is fit and they look to him more often than not, although as with Foody only playing half the games will likely cost him a decent shot.
Hancock will poll well in games he kicks bags, but moving to the A grade after 10 rounds eliminates him and Gully will start slow but come home in a flurry, generally will poll in games we win I think however has Smart & Sampson who will steal votes either end of the season.
Whinnen may only have played 6 games but could well poll anywhere from 12-18 votes, not sure that will be enough.
Krieg will be like Hancock and poll in games he kicks bags - top 5 surely.
Gilbert tore us apart when we played, as did Ford earlier in the season, played a large percentage of games during the season - this could well be #1 and #2..
Others thoughts?

Honestly couldn't give you a proper opinion on who will win it but I reckon the top 5 or 6 will only be separated by 1-3 votes

Not Surprised - see my former prediction -

So Payneham vs Trinity, Lockleys vs Pulteney next week
Pulteney will beat Lockleys.
You may well be looking at the Grand Finalists in Pulteney, Might sound little arrogant and cocky but I honestly saw them as the biggest danger in the 5 (apart from PNU) to us, and seriously believed that if we could've got over them last week we could well take all comers to the GF.. they beat us and they were good, now demolished Lockleys..

Re: Division C4 2013
Trinity-Pulteney should be a good game. Only 1 point in it last time.
Payneham kicked 4.19
Would have breathed a sigh of relief.

Anyone except Levi Larson, if he wins I would have to strongly consider retirement or moving to a different country maybe even planet

Ranga Ruckman? I like him, one of Glenungas better players by a long way.

In fairness mate, he's probably played his only good games against you this year. Quite surprised to see him in our top vote getters. Pilgrim will take the votes for Glenunga

Re: Division C4 2013
i think Pultney will beat Trinity this week and it will be a Pultney vs PNU grand final..having witnessed Pultney first hand in the EF,they were very impressive! they are young, fit and run in numbers..can Pultney beat PNU?..i think they can! but it all depends on where this game is played? PNU weakness is youth and pace in my opinion! if the game is played on a big wide oval.. Pultney to win! on the other hand if the game is played on a small oval..PNU to win. but of course Pultney need to beat Trinity first

Re: Division C4 2013
How do teams go having two byes in three weeks? I always felt a bit rusty coming off a bye but I guess that's the system. Maybe it's a godsend at this time of year as the sore spots mount.
Trinity didn't have their full forward Krieg who has kicked all the goals last time when they played Pulteney. But Pulteney didn't have Deans-Costi who will probably win their B&F this year. According to facebook they also get back Wilkins from overseas I think who won their B&F last year. Downside is that they've lost their VC and C to broken arm and shoulder respectively in the last two weeks.

Re: Division C4 2013
The smaller ground at Trinity will hurt Pulteney but I think they are capable of getting the job done.
I would like to see young Alex Cotter move up the ground a little bit - perhaps CHB/HBF, he has an unbelievable leg, a real weapon and on the short ground at Trinity he could get some good penetration and help break lines. Long and direct is the key!
Shut down Krieg, win the game as simple as that IMO.
As for beating PNU if they made it that far, i'm not so sure but definitely possible. Despite results I felt PNU presented opportunities and if you could hit them hard and weather the storm early, always were a chance to over run them late in the game when their older bodies tired.
My strategy v PNU was to pick the tallest, fittest back 6 I had and play a winger lose in defence as well, then to put the mature stronger bodies through the middle and key positions and look to quite honestly smash them. Didn't work thought lol, but we had some good moments. Big ground for the GF could hurt PNU and they would be wary of needing a fast start...

Wow disappointing count for Ingle Farm - 5 games dont poll a vote, 3 games only poll 1 vote.

It has cost Central District 2 flags in the SANFL in the past..........

Trinity lost by about 20 points so it's Payneham vs Pulteney next week.

Uncharted territory for the C-men!
Haven't won a C Grade flag since 1974...
Only won two games and forfeited three times last season.
