North will beat the Pies this weekend.

In all seriousness this is the most likely and would be a very apt result for Carlton, North, Brisbane, Crows and Eagles. The fact that basically not one of them will win when they are all playing their biggest game of the year. Sums up these 5 clubs seasons really

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict one of the Crows or Eagles will win

I'm predicting Power to win by roughly 63 points. The crows will then only have to win by a point and with scores locked away at the final siren and Dangerfield lining up from 45 out slight angle misses everything, DRAW

We all know the best solution.
Port beat Carlton by 10 goals and the Crows only have to win by a couple of points.

The Crows are two points down with Johnston (Barry Robran kick-a-like) (Best kick in the AFL according to the advertiser) having a shot after the siren to get them a finals place from 20 metres out straight in front and he misses!

Oh the feeling I would have if that happened!

The eighth spot could prove to be the better one to end up, would more likely face Richmond first week which is a better prospect than Collingwood, if Carlton get in I think they will get to the second week.

Better solution is Crows miss out on the 8 and Port get demolished by 120 points in their first final since 2007 setting another finals record.

I agree. If we make it hopefully face Richmond. I'd feel fairly confident. Now we just need to get there...!

Im taking a multi that will sum up how shit the 8th team is

Port 60-69 $12 (don't want to be to greedy, wouldnt forgive myself if Port won by say 64 instead of 63)
Geel Win $1.06 (just for a bit of extra value)
Crows draw $67
Coillingwood 1-9 $8 (only cos there isnt a market for 1-5)

$12500/1 will put $5 on

Haha hefty- wouldn't be enough to set another record if that were to happen. Pies lost the 84 prelim by 133 points!!

Port by 39+ - we're terrible.
Adel will flog WCE 39+ as well.

Multi it.

Can I put a bet on Carlton missing easy shots for goals and kicking ourselves out of the game?

That's exactly what would happen. Would almost rather lose this week, finish in the bottom six this year and get a soft draw next year.

I really can see only Carlton or North finishing eighth. I reckon there could be a few late outs from Richmond and Collingwood as a loss will ensure a home final against Port.

REALLY hope the crows dont make it for the following reasons:

1. The Crowvetiser consistently talking up their finals chances all year even when they were losing and was a pipe dream to make it.
2. All the crows supporters who have just rubbished what Port have achieved and laugh that they are there
3. Similar Crows supporters who blame a drop this season on a thousand and one excuses
4. Same Crows supporters who suddenly now are up and about talking September glory.
5. No doubt the Crowvetiser is back on the Crows band wagon

It's a vicious circle and Adelaide DONT deserve to play finals, simple as that!
