If ch7 showing state league football relies on the crows reserves playing, then its a load of crap.

If they're smart, one of them (Eddie's mob, SANFL, Channel 7) will introduce a 'you can see it anytime and any place you want, including live streaming, if you pay us a few $' model for interstate/overseas fans. I'd certainly pay (to see Norwood games) if it was anything short of outrageously extortionate. As a backup option, there's no reason for them not to do the equivalent of what the ABC currently do, and replay it on 7Mate at 3 in the morning (or some other off-peak time) one day during the week so fans can just set their devices.BD1 wrote:At least with ABC coverage, interstate viewers can see a game live on ABC1 TV (satellite), replayed a couple days later on ABC iView and also replayed on Thursday morning on ABC1 TV.
I cant see Channel 7 (or 7TWO or 7Mate) televising a game live nationally let alone replaying on national TV.
The so-called preferred option by the SANFL is lead to a reduction in potential viewer numbers.
