I think John Butcher from Pt Adel is a dud! Lazy, no work ethic, looks disinterested and is beaten far too regularly - look at the showdown last week for example, kicked one goal and that was from the Crows playing slipping, he had already given up on getting the ball!

Bit harsh on Blics he's still got L plates on. When most of his opponents were in the TAC or playing against Men Blics was training with athletes. What he has managed to achieve this year is well advanced on what Geelong would have expected from him this season. Wait and see on Blics he has plenty of upside but he's probably cooked for the year and it certainly showed against North.

You serious?
Reckon he goes allright, better than half our spuds and id imagine he would walk into Carltons starting line up

John "The Fuschia" Butcher has to be skipper
Would be close to the worst player in the comp.
Would struggle to get a kick in the Ammos

Probably wont have a choice Jim.

Mason Shaw is one tall on our list who needs time to put some muscle on, but has real talent at 197cm- a great set of hands and quite mobile for a big boy. At 85kg or there abouts though gets out bodied at league level. Butcher in fairness has had an injury plagued 3 seasons at port- and had no pre-season this year, hence why he looks so out of sorts.

He has talent, just bugger all confidence and this coming off season will be make or break for him surely.

As for your comment joker- yeah it probably will only be one final and we are making up the numbers. However its a bloody far cry from where we have come from in 2011-12. 2 Showdown wins is the stat that matters this season :D :D

He is almost Captain / Coach. He didn't deserve a SANFL League game earlier in the season.

His brother can be the runner!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

We would love to at least play a final. They have earned there chance where as teams like Adelaide and West Coast have been ******* pathetic all season an would kill for the chance to a least have a crack.

I'd like Daniel Stewart to force his way into the side on the back of some solid SANFL form and earn an extended run at AFL level. Sadly, he hasnt been able to do either.
