SOTS absolutely stunk it up after looking promising for most of the race. The favourite too good though. Didn't get close to running a place in the end.

SOTS absolutely stunk it up after looking promising for most of the race. The favourite too good though. Didn't get close to running a place in the end.

Trainer and Jockey said horse got his tongue over the bit and couldn't breathe. Potter thought he had a lap full of horse on the bend. I'm still shattered.

If you get the chance to watch a replay, you'll notice he was travelling beautifully and got to the top of the straight and just died in the arse. Distinctly different to the previous run.

Yeh I was there and thought us and the Fav would pull away to fight it out. But SOTS came back a little distressed, had the tongue issue, which I think was evident as it couldn't have travelled better until the business end.

Sh1t, friends of ours went up to see the cup. Hopefully they were out the back and didn't see the fall.

It just reminds you that we slag the jocks, but christ, there aren't many jobs around where you mightn't come home at the end of the day. It's a dangerous and often thankless job.
