The OT pitch gets dug up next week and replaced with a semi synthetic pitch the same as Wembley.
Long overdue, the pitch has been not up to standard for awhile now.

We did that the year we got to the EPL. We have the best pitch outside the EPL by a country mile.

United have had a problem with the pitch since the extended stands were built. It is about the lack of sunshine getting onto the pitch. The San Siro has the same problem

I would have thought that was an issue for all stadiums or even all of the UK ?

More of a problem for us because we have a lot higher stands than most grounds and it will get worse once the new stand goes ahead
