Didnt think he was in line for a recall anyway, but have a 1 week suspension turned into 2 weeks while playhing VFL. Yeah thats a paddeling.

They were saying last night that the Pies struggle a bit with small forwards. Stokes, Motlop and Christensen will give plenty to think about. An extra days recovery plus them coming back from the West doesn't hurt either.

Hardly. Teams have often struggled the week after a trip out West. It reduces recovery effectiveness and time.

Worrying signs beyond lack of personnel. Would be nice to have full strength team but it just isn't going to happen, so the team selected has to be able to execute winning football. Geelong are winning with a bunch of young blokes and rookies and show it can be done.
