ASADA is independent of the AFL. Hard to say if they'll suspend players. VFL players have been banned for less though.

This is out of the AFLs hands, off course they will try and cover it up.

they could but if your talking a 18-24 month ban no point really, their career would be well and truly over .

Ideal scenario if this was to happen would be maximum 6 months to be served over summer. With maybe missing pre season & a couple of early rounds.

Its 6 months if they admit to it or 2 years if they don't come forward. Its looking more like 2 years at the moment. Not sure of the timing of the bans, I assume it would be instant.

Would they consider 6 players missing for 12 weeks at a time? Then they can return, then the another 6. And so on until all bans are served
