Didn't think I would be bumping this so early.

Shit, good call!! Whether you like them or not (if you're open minded enough) you have to take your hat off to what they've done and how they've played thus far!!

Long long way to go I would think your need 13 wins to get in the 8 this year and whilst were making huge in roads and obviously sitting 5 and 0 is a great start I think we'll give the 8 a shake next year if we were lucky enough to scrape in this year who knows what that experience could do to our young list for the year after

Well GWS, GCS, Melb, Bris, St Kilda, Adel are all gone and North have some work to do, so there's 6-7 out of the equation

Agree 13 wins will be required.

They have 5 to date, so need 8 more from the remaining 17 games.

Looking at the draw, I recon they've got 9 hard game (red), 4 50:50 games (blue), and 4 easy games (green).

So if they win 2 of the 4 50:50 games, win 3 of the 4 easy games (you'd expect a slip up at some stage), then they still need to find 3 wins of the 9 hard games. Certainly not an easy task.

Round 6 North Melbourne @ Blundstone
Round 7 Richmond @ AAMI.
Round 8 Carlton @ Etihad.
Round 9 Geelong @ AAMI.
Round 10 Western Bulldogs @ TIO.
Round 11 Bye
Round 12 GWS @ Skoda.
Round 13 Sydney @ AAMI.
Round 14 Collingwood @ AAMI.
Round 15 Essendon @ Etihad.
Round 16 Hawthorn @ AAMI.
Round 17 St. Kilda @ Etihad.
Round 18 Brisbane @ AAMI.
Round 19 Adelaide @ AAMI.
Round 20 Geelong @ Simonds.
Round 21 Gold Coast @ AAMI.
Round 22 Fremantle @ Patersons.
Round 23 Carlton @ AAMI.

Well Betfair has the Roos as favourites at the moment, so do you think I should change it to red?

Everybody loves a winner .. On the small sample of 3 home games (including a Showdown) so far Port's average home attendance is 30,000 compared to 20,000 last year.

We still have those cold wet winter games to come so the average will drop but good signs that on field form is dragging people along to watch which will make a huge difference to their finances.
