It's fair to say that it wasn't much of a contest until after 1/2 time ... whenever they play it on the GF marathon it usually starts at 3/4 time.
Dipper also put in a gutsy performance that day ... punctured lung from memory. Platten was off with concussion for most of the game.
Prob no wonder they ran out of legs in the end. 5 more minutes and Geelong had them.
