Knicks win 87-71 in Game 2, lead series 2-0
Celtics held to 23 points in second half, didnt score a FG in last 9 minutes.
K Mart was awesome today, Melo was solid after a poor first half

Charlotte Bobcats announce today they've sacked former 36ers coach Mike Dunlap after just one season.

Wasn't a fan of the guy at the 36ers but to be given only one season in charge of the worst team in the NBA coming off of basically the worst season in NBA history last season is a complete joke. Jordan will always be the GOAT playing wise but in charge of the Wizards (Kwame Brown #1 pick) and now Bobcats he's been a disaster.

I felt at the 36ers he was good, but not what we needed at the time. Had he coached the sides Goorjian coached I've no doubt he'd have had at least equal success.

I think he was always a stop gap in Charlotte. Unless he got them into playoff contention he was going to be a 1 year wonder. He did improve a disaster of a squad, would have been good to see him add another lottery pick and another year under the youngsters belts how they went, but not to be. On some of the American based forums there's talk that Jordan is the worst owner/GM in history! Wouldn't be the first bloke to know what to do, but not able to explain it.

True but I don't think Dunlap is anywhere near as good a coach as Goorjian. 6 Championships, 13 Grand Finals and 20 consecutive seasons of Semi-Finals appearances or better. The talk was after a revolving door with coaches at Charlotte, Dunlap would be brought in to straighten them up a bit and develop a bit of a work ethic with them but like at the 36ers it seems there were some personality conflicts between him and some players (Ben Gordon named as one but why anyone would care what his opinion on anything is beats me). I think Dunlap has been harshly treated but more importantly continues to make the Bobcats look like a joke of an organisation.

Reading the articles about his sacking, it does raise the fact there are a lot of issues though (with him) and his style/micro-management wasn't a good fit there.

Even shit teams need a good fit

Larry Sanders with the loose ball, running the court in traffic and dunking - that was awesome.

Wade had a stinker and it feels like LeBron is off the boil a little. Still beat them easy on their home court.

Miami are such a better side than last year. Anderson has come in and added so much. Last year they struggled to get 4 guys on the court who could all contribute. Now they've got Rashard Lewis and Mike Miller logging DNP-CDs in tight playoff games. LeBron is more comfortable being the leader while Wade and Bosh are happy (seemingly) being deputies.

Biggest threat to them coming out of the East might be it all being too easy.
