No, actually the highlight of my day was watching Adelaide struggle for 3 1/2 quarters (they had a patch early in the second) to break out of Ports defensive zone.
When we scored it was almost inevitable that we would get another shot or opportunity to produce a score attempt within a minute or two.
Hinkley has stressed all summer that defence is about the whole team defending, not just the back 6 and clearly the group has embraced this.
We also gave Sloane, Dangerfield and Thompson no room to move at contests and stiffled any run they may have been able to generate. McKay then got no ball to generate run from the back.

Boak was fantastic from the first bounce to the finish winning the ball, clearing, creating run and kicking 3 goals. The skipper has taken the next step IMO. Hartlett is looking fit and strong, Monfries has been a good addition and Westhoff was,once again, outstanding.

He's now listed as 199cm and 96kg, three years ago he was 90kg. He still covers the ground better than most his height and now that little bit of extra muscle along with a super fitness base is making him a very difficult match up.

Interesting to note that Sanderson had at times 2 or 3 behind the ball in the first quarter. Not usually his style I wouldn't think?

It was said on AFL 360 that when Port played Melbourne Westoff travelled the most distance out of all the players that played

Yeah they are putting members names on it, $260 gets you your name on it somewhere and a replica of the guernsey

Yeah I was talking to a Power supporter at training about how they're wearing that jumper to celebrate the premierships they've won at AAMI/Footy Park...all 0 of them

He's also pre-ordered a jumper and his name will be on it. I reckon that parts pretty cool.
