Crows draw last year ring a bell?

Power are playing some good footy at the moment. They have yet to be tested against a quality team.

Suns at home aint no bye.
Far better side than last year, Port should still win but it wont be a walk in the park.

Tend to agree jim. I think the power will find it tough there as the gc are starting to play some good footy.

suck it up and accept you where beaten by a better side. After GC we play West coast, North Melb away, Richmond, Carlton and Geelong. Then from rd 13 we play Sydney, Collingwood, Essendon and Hawthorn. Yep we have a soft draw.

Easier early games are handy, but its the all round FIXture (to end of minor round) that counts the most.

LMFAO. More front the Myers! A Crows fan complaining about soft draws BWAHAHAHAHA. Priceless!

What a fantastic win by Port tonight. Some absolutely brilliant football played by them tonight full credit to the players, the coaches and the recruiting staff. Well done. The Power are back in the competition.

Nicely put REB. :D They did play some good footy but there were plenty of areas that Port needs to improve. Some skill errors and decision making in the first half were really concerning - along with poor finishing near goal. I still believe the Crows are no better than a 8-12 side this year & put should've put them to the sword more-so than the 9 point margin suggests.

Absolutely, but this will be the case at multiple stages throughout the season, as it is part and parcel with a football side still very much in a development phase, and Ken Hinkley has stressed this from day 1.

What should please Port fans is that we are playing a great brand of football, something that is exciting to watch and this will be the catalyst in creating a marketable brand. We are returning some attributes that are very much port adelaide, such as contested footy and courage. The latter was on display tonight in a big way.

As our players mature the skill errors will gradually erode, and this hopefully will see us contest finals football in the near future.

the one thing I have been so amazed about in this showdown is how the crows supporters have gone on to give us credit, minus a couple. It doesn't really bother me from most because it just shows how passionate they are about their club. But one thing Ken has been huge on this year is getting the respect back and it clearly is starting show we are.

Always respected Port Adelaides history. A strong Port Adelaide is what SA football needs.

For some on safooty it probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but i've got a few friends on facebook that hate port adelaide and never ever would I have thought they would congratulate Port on their win. Only way I thought that was possible if port went onto smash every record ever set in australian rules football.
