FFS, this guy doesn't know when to quit Lol.

Just send him back up north so we don't have to hear what crimes he's committing.

Why isnt he in constant custody? He's awaiting trial for assualt with a deadly weapon and been arrested 3 times since, as well as didnt turn up to court, and violated bail conditions. What the **** is the point of given him conditions to abide by, and when he breaks the rules, he gets let go.

Obviously he and his family arent responsible enough to do the right thing.

I guess then you wouldn't expect the law to pursue him for any crimes committed "up North"?

Not with me as your lawyer! Have seen plenty worse stay out on bail. Probably does need to pull his head in now though. Magistrates might start putting in no drinking clauses etc on. That might be setting him up to fail and send him into a spiral.

it gets better ...

Imagine this court transcript

Judge Mr Jurrah, how do you plead?

Jurrah You see, after the Machete thing which was just a simple family disagreement, my young lad dropped my mobile phone and I couldn't call my mates. I was devastated. I know I should have just got the phone fixed or got another one, but I'm a dumb prick and I didn't think of that. So because my mates couldn't stop me getting into trouble, I went on a drunken crime spree. When I got arrested and bailed, my mates didn't remind me to turn up to court. Then when I was staying in the wrong house and the cops busted me my mates couldn't get hold of me to tell me what to do. Anyway, I can get away with anything if I just act dumb.

So it wasn't my fault ... it was that faarking phone. I plead not guilty Your Honour.

WILD scenes have erupted outside the Liam Jurrah assault trial in Alice Springs, after a witness claimed the former AFL star took no part in a vicious assault upon his cousin.

Men sitting in a park across from the Alice Springs Supreme Court began arguing and fighting during an adjournment in the trial, with two men trading blows near the steps to the courthouse.

One man suffered a cut mouth during the brief confrontation before police converged on the scene to break up the fighting.

Officers have now set up a mobile command centre in a caravan opposite the court to monitor the situation.
