Good chance that Nick Salter will have to be moved to the long term injury list

I was talking to him a few weeks back. He was doing all the work pre-Xmas and his "good" foot started to blow up. Seems he may have similar stress fractures to what derailed him last year.

Pity, because I think he has got quite a bit to offer at both ends of the field, but, having said that, I think he was lucky to survive the cull at the end of 2012. His size and the loss of Chaplin kept him on the list IMO.

Hinkley has got to be an improvement on primus. Worse coach in the AfL in a decade.
They'll be better than GWS GC W/Bulldogs and Melbourne.
Not to best scenario to be heading into Adelaide Oval but it could be worse.

I've even clarified the stance!!!!

Talking to yourself now mate? Now you'll understand what it's like when you explain something and the other person just doesn't get it.

Ports record in the AFL stands up against most other established clubs in their early years. We are struggling but the wheel will turn. As for the doggies, beware, you might not be that far away from the doldrums as you think.

Your arrogance reminds me of our own on the 80's and 90's, but nothing lasts forever. Just the colors have changed.

Really what other established club has lost a GF by 119 points Without making finals since ???

Your record dictates out of all the interstate clubs you have achieved more than freo in afl. Freo doesn't need $3 mill a year in handouts to survive.

Now if dogs fans arrogance reminds you of port Adelaide 20 years ago.

Guess what port fans pathetic happy clapping a potential 6-8 win season reminds centrals fans of ???

How the mighty have fallen.

Thanks for helping me prove the point.

Fremantle from memory did need AFL handouts before Western Australia became one of the worlds best economies and 1000 people a week moved there all because of mining. Comparing apples with oranges and a very tunnel visioned look @ the scenario....

Just to clarify your stance.

Fremantle and Port Adelaides record in afl cant be compared due to many variables.

But with one ports current situation being compared to central district pre 2000 record in sanfl is a completely valid/relevant argument made with a clear vision.

Is that correct LK ??

Quality footballer who just was lacking a bit of conditioning before entering afl system . Looks as if the extra workloads required have caught up with him with stress fractures etc......

My only fear is if delisted he will not go back to Eagles in SANFL. But go straight back to Clare.

Top bloke aswell.

Certainly looks as though this season is his last unless he can rid his injuries and make his way into the side, his performances will dictate a contract extension.

A shame because he might be able to offer something at AFL level if his body gives him the opportunity.

Salter would be good if he was played as a forward. Spending most of your sanfl time in the forward line then being put in a shoddy defence wouldn't be the best thing for him.

We have/had an international major sponsor to be announced the day the ACC report into the drugs issue came out, which has been delayed. On top of that we have another premier partner soon to be announced, as well as being a fair way into the process with a couple of other national companies. So yeah, you couldn't be more off the mark on this one

ADELAIDE Crows chief executive Steven Trigg is considering increasing the amount of paid work he does for club sponsor Rivergum Homes during his six-month ban from the AFL.

Trigg, who is the chairman of Rivergum's Strategic Advisory Board, has discussed increasing his involvement with the home builder.

The Advertiser understands this could involve working as a consultant.
