I'm sorry, I must have missed all the positive, encouraging "speak" directed at Glenelg over the years from those who follow port. I strongly doubt they'd be jealous of our record. Makes that point a bit moot.

Off field I think they will improve and only make a $3 mill loss.

All looking good at alberton in 2013.

What are some realistic wins for the power this year? A quick glance at draw, is 8 passable. A lot of talent on list that hasnt made the consistent step yet. Dom i still think is going 2 be a huge key were and how he is played. Olive Oil if power can keep him is dare i say it going 2 be a star! Young Winyard(so spelling) has added some baulk and will contiue 2 do so.

I'd agree with around 6-8 wins.

GC and GWS twice, Bulldogs, Brisbane, St.Kilda once and Melbourne once. Go figure, we play them in Round 1 and not again?

I guess it depends on what effect hinkley has immediately. If they play a more attacking direct type of footy, Port could win 10 with no trouble.

I think 10 wins is absolute best case.

The positives I see from our pre-season, aside from the coaching and fitness staff :

A fit Matt Lobbe. He is ahead of Redden by miles in fitness stakes and Renouf who is still battling injuries. Lobbe showed he was our lead ruckman late in 2011 and had 2012 derailed with hip surgery last summer.

Boak, Ebert, Harlett, Cassisi, Monfries, Wingard, Cornes, Broadbent is a midfield with a bit of depth. Thomas, Gray ( when fit ) and Monfries ( although, as am has alluded to ???? ) add further options.

Our defence is our biggest concern if Trengove or Carlile get injured or drop form. Hombsch looks good, but will need to step up quickly.

Geez you blokes are being generous, 4-5 wins tops.

Have they got a major sponsor yet? Was supposed to be imminent in October last year...

I said 6-8 is realistic.

Major sponsor,I believe, to be announced very soon.

European car manufacturer.

Had to predict wins, i suspect Port will win some they aren't expected to, and lose some they should win.

If I had to pluck a figure out of the air, I'd say - 6.

I think 6-8 wins is achievable.

Hinkley has got to be an improvement on primus. Worse coach in the AfL in a decade.

They'll be better than GWS GC W/Bulldogs and Melbourne.

Not to best scenario to be heading into Adelaide Oval but it could be worse.
