Re: Essendon 2013
Caroline Wilson reported tonight that up to 25 players could receive a 2 year ban and that we wont be able to field a side so there would be a bye each week.
Believe the TV deal is reliant on 9 games being played each week so will be intetesting to see how this plays out

Re: Essendon 2013
Very interesting observation about their injuries last year with the potential whispers going around.
Keep in mind with the AFL's 3 strike policy on recriational drugs then this could get very nasty if the AFL swung the sword. If this gains momentum there could be many broke people by the end of things.

Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

The weapon has been discharged.
Been on the cards for awhile, at the end of last year we tried to get rid rid of him but he had a contract and the club wasnt prepared at the time to pay it out. Did hear that he had been relieved of all duties some months ago and was just rocking up each week to collect his pay

On the backburner for awhile id guess.
Especially when it sounds like a couple of other clubs may be investigated over PED use

As i said in an earlier post, he was relieved of his duties awhile ago.
He has no input at training, one person I spoke too regularly goes to training and he said the weapon just sits down on the sidelines and has no interaction with the players.
I was told he was finally sacked tonight but yet to hear anything more

just having a quick read looks like those players could be facing a 2 year ban. the club could also be looking at no selections at the national draft. The messy situation is who is at fault here the players for taking a banned substance, or the club for telling the players it was ok to use it.

Re: Essendon 2013
Big sanctions is the hot topic in Melbourne.
Sounds like an ex player (reimers?) was going to talk to channel 9 to expose this so the club got the front foot. Not good if the rumours are true it's been happening for a couple of years

Reimers and Lonergen apparantly.
Geelong are now assisting in the investigation after being implicated from the years the weapon was there

Re: Essendon 2013
Sounds like a Tarantino movie with "The Weapon" and "The Pharmacist", Reimers better watch out, they might send in "The Cleaner"
